These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the online store available at www.shopaverly.com, operated by:

1. General provisions

  1. The Shopaverly online store allows you to purchase wooden butcher blocks and other kitchen and serving items presented in its catalog.
  2. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable federal law (including FTC regulations) or the consumer protection laws of your state of residence.
  3. Placing an order implies acceptance of these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Customer — any person or entity placing an order in the Store.
  • Consumer — an individual purchasing for personal, family or household purposes.
  • Order — the Customer's declaration of intent to conclude a purchase agreement.
  • Product — an item presented in the Store.
  • Business days — Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.

3. Placing orders

  1. Orders can be placed 24/7 through the Store's website.
  2. To order, add the selected products to the cart, enter your shipping details and choose a payment method.
  3. After placing an order you will receive an order confirmation with your order number at the e-mail address provided.
  4. The Seller may refuse to process an order in the event of inaccurate data, inability to deliver, or other legitimate reasons.
  5. The minimum age to place an order is 18 years.

4. Prices and payment

  1. All prices in the Store are shown in US dollars (USD). Shipping is free; any applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay — there are no hidden fees.
  2. The price shown at the time of ordering is binding.
  3. Accepted payment methods:
    • cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club,
    • digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal.
  4. Payment is captured at the time of order.
  5. All payment transactions are encrypted (SSL/TLS) and handled by certified processors (Shopify Payments and PayPal, PCI DSS Level 1, 3-D Secure for cards).

5. Delivery

  1. We ship within the United States only.
  2. Delivery is free for all orders.
  3. Delivery time: 5–7 business days in total (1–2 days handling + 4–5 days transit).
  4. Cut-off: orders placed before 4:00 PM Mountain Time on a business day are processed the same day.
  5. Carriers: UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL eCommerce.
  6. Orders are picked, packed and shipped by our fulfillment partner ShipBob in Fontana, California. Details in the Shipping Policy.

6. 30-day return policy

  1. We accept returns within 30 calendar days of delivery — no reason required. Details, conditions and the step-by-step procedure are in the Returns & Refunds Policy.
  2. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving the returned product.

7. Defective products and warranty

  1. If a product arrives defective, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, contact us within a reasonable time at support@shopaverly.com — we cover return shipping and will replace the product or refund you in full, at your choice.
  2. Our products are also covered by any implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed under the laws of your state. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
  3. Warranty claims should include your order number, a description of the defect and photos where applicable.

8. Dispute resolution

  1. If you have any problem with your order, contact us first at support@shopaverly.com — most issues are resolved within one business day.
  2. You always retain the rights available to you under the consumer protection laws of your state, including the right to complain to your state Attorney General's consumer protection office or the Better Business Bureau, and to bring a claim in small claims court.

9. Personal data

The rules for processing Customers' personal data are described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

All content in the Store — product photographs, texts, descriptions, logos and graphics — is the property of the Seller or used with the permission of its owners and is protected by intellectual property law.

11. Governing law

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
  2. Consumer protection: you retain all rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection laws of your state of residence, and nothing in this section limits your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own state where the law allows it.

12. Final provisions

  1. Product appearance. Wood is a natural material: slight variations in tone, grain and texture (typically 5–10%) compared to the photos are possible and are not a defect.
  2. Intended use. Shopaverly products are intended for domestic food preparation and serving. Follow the care instructions on each product page.
  3. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Seller is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the products. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
  4. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
  5. Changes to the Terms. Changes will be announced with 14 days' notice. Orders placed before the changes take effect are governed by the Terms in force at the time of ordering.
